Lentil Bolognese Sourdough Pizza Toast with a Simple Green Salad

Ingredients

  • Lentil Bolognese

  • Red pepper, finely diced

  • Olive, roughly chopped

  • Grated cheese

  • Fresh basil leaves. 

For the Salad

  • Romaine or similar, torn

  • Carrot, grated or in julienne

  • Red cabbage, finely sliced

  • Vinaigrette

Method

  • Turn on the oven on at about 180°C.

  • Toast the sourdough bread lightly.

  • Add a layer of Lentil Bolognese followe by grated cheese, diced peppers and olives.

  • Put in pre-heated oven for about 10 minutes.

  • In the meantime prepare the salad.

  • Add basil to the pizza toast. 

Serve and enjoy.
